18th November Hampshire and Surrey Green laning

It is that lane and you are right it is very steep at the start and also very chalky. It was actually ok going up as long as you stayed on the right hand side(looking up the hill) if you tried the other side as I did than it was a different matter. Once on the correct line everyone made it up unassisted.:clap

My lie-down was caused by the guy in front reversing down the hill towards me ....

:augie

Despite the above, special thanks to pinkytiff for the post-ride facilities. Much appreciated.

I'm doubly pissed I missed it, as after Frank had collected the bike the family and I decided to go out for lunch.

Roll on to 01:00 and "the bug" made itself known.
Then began the fight to retain my innards :O
The GF and daughter were not so bad hit.

Of course, had I been out riding I would be fighting fit, all be it not able to move due to sore muscles.

Roll on next time :)

And who was it that said motorbikes were dangerous? :D

So where was the BOAT that needed a boat?

There are a number of byways around Bentworth that are like that but they are all TRO'd at the moment due to Health and Safety (to everything including walkers). The TRF are encouraging the council to make repairs to bring it back into vehicular use (We even did lane clearing at the end of one of the trails with the local council rangers).
