1150 Rt
197 miles from new :roll

£8750

On MCN

nothing to do with me
but if you really want one you will never get better

Issue with these buys is that in 2 years with 15K on the clock it's just a low mileage RT that's lost you best part of £5k.

Only way to keep value is to do what they do on here with 1150 SE's, and put them away in cotton wool with just run to the MoT station every year.

Spot on,far better to buy a well serviced one with 40k on it and save 5 grand over to spend on fuel and trips .

I bought this very bike with a true 197 miles on the clock (3000) on it now , i got it for six grand at the time , i had been looking all over the place at the time for a low milage 1150 gs/rt , bikes with 15 to 30k dealers going for up to £5.5 so so for what was a brand new fully loaded 1150 rt for 6k to me was a good buy , i cant see me selling in for years to come so i am a happy chap

well its clocked over 7000 miles of excellent riding miles now around the uk and france and heading back over to europe for 7 days in the next few weeks , did afew litte mods to it like a K&N filter , r1150rs air tubes tubes (more mid range) upgrade starter motor, its still in mint condition (i think its had more polish than the queens rolls royce) , did i do the right thing as it was a toss up between 1200rt with agood few mile on its clocks or the 1150 with 197 miles on it , yes it was , well i think so . and its still worth good money .

Well done that man

I am looking for one as we speak

Thought I had got one last week , but it mysteriously disappeared from e bay as I was in the process of buying it

Not been able to contact the vendor .... It was a beaut

If you intend to keep it, & why wouldn't you, why use a K & N filter ? The OE passes all the air you'll ever need, & filters properly. Just a thought.

K&N air filters are far far better than standard ones and can be cleaned and re oiled

No they are not, they filter far worse!

that doesn't make me want to replace the K&N that my Breva 1100 came with,

or the fact that I will be fitting K&N's to my Le Mans 2 project, though any filtration is an improvement rather than the open bellmouths they come with!
