Many of you will recognise me from various be-aaches over the past few months, so I thought I should post something positive:


Yesterday, dropped bike off at Battersea for service.
Got a nice 1200RS for the day (being a good boy put it straight in the garage)

Picked my bike up at lunchtime

services,clean, happy boy, felt looked after.

Satisfied customer!

Hi there

I bought my 1150GS from Park lane and I made a point of taking my bike in for a service at Battersea just because of the good service. They always had a load bike and only had to wait half day for the service. I had to sell my bike when I left last year Oct to return to South Africa. Now the new 1200GS must go in for its first service and I just hope the service is going to be of the same standard.

You get what you pay for and the 'proper' BMW service is not cheap - having used the local concessionaire for wherever I have lived during thirty years I may have spent a lot of money but I have NEVER had any cause for complaint.

Hi Gun, Was the bike RO51 RVV ? I bought this from Park Lane in February 06. What was the petrol consumption like? And everything else?
