Just after cleaning the bike after the winter months acf50 shite and came across metal shavings in here....something to be worried about?

Also just connected zumo power lead to acc socket and zumo tends to stay on even after ign turned off..is this normal for the older 1150's? As the newer ones cut off after 3minutes?

TIA

No idea about the metal shavings, but the aux socket on the 1150 is live all the time. Fused feed direct from the battery.

You'd be best to wire the cradle directly to the battery... pain in the arse if its on a switched live... every time you stop for fuel or a break off it goes and needs to re-boot;)

No idea why there would be metal shavings in there - it's just the hex socket on the adjustable paralever pinion (like the matching, non adjustable one on the other side). Is the hole still hex shaped (hard to tell from the picture)? - I guess someone could have abused it with a poor fitting hex bit or a rattle gun or some such trying to undo the very well loctited pinion....

ALL 1150 models have a live acc socket. It's how you charge the battery. Only the 1200 models have a shut off.
