I went to the Chester dealer to get new speedo instrument bulbs which have blown but, he could not find them on the microfiche.
They are the capless type.
Anybody know the number / type so I can buy from Motorworks?

Or, are there LED available to fit and from where?

Thanks,

I got replacements from Halfords
took in the originals with me
I got 3.2 watt ones I think which show up better for me
alternatively fanum was doing a set of bulbs including side lights in led which I got also

sorry no refference

Lee, Five dollars plus free shipping from China, holy cheap prices.

No wonder the west is disintegrating. But, a brightness of 6000K, would that not wash out the dial?

6000K stands for 6000° Kelvin. It is not a measure of power (watt) or brightness (Lumens), it describes the "colour" of the light emitted. 6000°K is "icy white". Not yet blue. Most LEDs are around 6000°K

Also be aware that not all LEDs emit light in the same pattern. SOme are 360°, some are 180°, and some kinda only "shoot" light to the front.

Lee,
So the link you highlighted for a bagful of 74 T5 LED's at $5 are suitable?

While I am here, what about the rear stop/brake light and indicator replacements?

When I order, might as well go the whole way and buy the lot if available.

Thanks

i bought some blue ultrabright LED. Work like a charm and were really cheap.

I have a BMW K1200RS, an R1150GSA and a Honda Africa Twin. They all have Led bulbs. I honestly don't remember which type goes where. Simply pull one a look on led supplier websites.
