For what distance before it widens to something that will give you a decent clearance at either end of the bars?

37" gate, then it goes to 39" for about 3m, 45" for another 3m and then garden.
I built an extention onto the house last year, knew I would eventually get a GSA , so got the builder to leave a 1m/41" odd side entrance. (which he thought was mad), but I knew.
With plaster on both walls etc - the 1m/41" got tighter at the entrance, but workable.

it's doable and I'll live with it,
