Its a few years since I has my 1200GSA swiped, but over the weekend I returned to the fold and picked up a 2003 GSA. The bike needs a bit of TLC, but is running well andI'm really happy with it. Great to be back on a GS.
I've been looking at the parts microfiche as I can see a few bits I need to replace, but I've noticed the rear caliper bolts are spaced out in a way that I'm not expecting, or cant see on the microfiche. It looks like the bolts are too long and have been spaced out (and have very subtly touched the rear disc at some point). As you can see the area needs some tidying up, and I'm not entirely sure the best way to get these calipers looking peachy again, but what is the fixing onto the caliper bracket actually supposed to be like? Is it corretc? Can anyone share a photo of a correctly mounted caliper?
Thanks,
H
