2005 GS DIY Servicing

I have a shed thats big enough, but enjoy the natural light of being outside, I service mine and my eldest sons bike mostly o/s, Some old baking trays for all the bits and bobs, try to work tidy , and use a decent kneeling mat. a fancy hydraulic ramp and all that sort of thing must be very nice, but I manage quite well. most of the time i'm riding it!!!:D
 
It won't fit. You'll have to ride it through the winter instead :D

It would be good to think I'm still up for that but having done it a few winters on my old fireblade I'm not sure I can be arsed ;)

We'll see how this year goes as this is the year I get back in to biking... we'll see if it sticks. Good start though.

On the same subject and not to hijack the thread. I am anally retentive about torquing stuff (much to the annoyance of some here), has anybody found a thin walled spark plug socket with a 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive
