I’ve decided to sell my 1150 GSA.
Why? I’ve done precisely 330 miles since I bought it last June and that includes 110 miles to and from my house in Brittany.
First registered 16/05/2005.
The bike now has 20555 miles
It comes with a standard height Sargeant seat that cost me £700 last August and has been used for 150 miles.
The low BMW seat will also be included .
It’s fitted with a Hagon shock that I believe is 20mm lower than the OE.
The OE shock has been fully refurbed last year by Denz0 at Ttech but not used as I discovered that the bike with the slightly wider Sargeant seat put me on tip toe so I refitted the lower Hagon shock .
Also comes with Baglux tank cover and tank bag.
The previous owner was a bike mechanic and serviced the bike annually himself.
He had it five years . Before that there are a few service receipts .
I did all oils last July then had a workshop fit new fork seals and a new air filter as well as check all other normal service items.
The previous owner fitted new Metzeler Tourance Next 2 tyres just before he decided to sell , so they have down 330 miles !
He also fitted a Hepco & Becker top box (£446) and Touratech pannier frames (£262) last year , just before a change in personal circumstances meant the bike had to go .
New OE heated grips were fitted in 2024.
I’ve fitted some grippier Touratwat foot pegs as well.

As you’ll see from the photos, it’s not mint , but it’s pretty tidy.
Mechanically it’s as sweet as a nut .
The bike is registered in Guernsey .
To re-register the bike in the UK, you will simply have to get it MOT’d then take the Guernsey reg doc and VAT receipt ( paid and provided by me) to local DVLA and pay £55 to get it put on UK plates.
I also have a copy of the Certificate of Conformity which may or may not be needed.
It’s a straight forward process which a number of members on here , such as @Skid06 can vouch for , having bought off me in the past.
The Price
I’m asking £3200 for everything or £2750 if you don’t want the Sargeant seat .
Please Note
This price includes me paying the VAT on entry into mainland UK and delivering the bike to your door, say anywhere south of Manchester .
If you drink in the same pub as Northern Jock then we can come to some arrangement.
