Hi, can anyone shed light on what to epxect costwise for the annual AND 24000 mile service?

I am looking at buying an GT and it has 23 000 on the clock, FDSH, so will be due soon. Its an 06 model.

By the by, went to dealers for a test ride it today and they showed me all service hostory yada yada. I tried to turn ignition on and check the ESA/heated grips etc. Nothing came on. Dealer smirked, looked at me and made out I was sort of a numpty...and said he'd disconnected the battery, obviously. ...Anyhow, I go upstairs to sign the road test papers and wait and wait. He pops up 30 minutes later. "Sorry sir, we can't get it started". They changed batteries etc.nothing...I looked at him and felt his unease as I thanked him for the wait in his showroom! No test ride for me today!

Anyhow, cost of service?

BMW dealers do have that way of looking at you. No idea as to cost of service but I would ask for the service to be done before you collect it. Seeing as he slipped up already JJH

I'd have asked for the contract papers and ripped them up infront of his face! :thumb

If they couldn't even have the bike ready for you when trying to sell it, doesn't bode well....

My K1200S was generally cheaper to service than my GS as it only needed a valve check every 18k miles :thumb2
