Ihavn't done mcc events for years. Did them for about 8 years on the trot on bikes mainly and a season in a ford anglia estate.My best results were on my old R80g/s ,got 2 golds on that. One pannier for spare tubes/tools etc, the other for my overnight clothes for the piss up afterwards. Lots of fun.

Providing my boss agrees to my sat off I'm going to Fingle Bridge and then hopefully Simms which I am sure must have been part of the Princetown off road ride.

see you there hopefully Trippy. I have a couple of friends staying over, I'll see if I can't drag their arses out of bed to watch the trial as well.

number 552

All ready, BASH PLATE, FOAM FIRE EXSTINGWISHER, TOW ROPE, HANDBRAKE, TAX, MOT, DOORLOCKS all working apart from drivers door, NEW TYRES on the front.

Trial run tonight FANTASTIC, down a few deeply rutted BYWAYS, plenty of ground clearance.

Up at 6.45 this morning and down at Fingle Bridge on the edge of Dartmoor by 8.30 whe the first of the bikes had just started the section.
Met Proff and Devon in the woods and waited for Bakermans racing Fiat Panda to arrive.

Euan passes the time annoying Proff by hitting him with his Lilt bottle as you do.

Bakerman needed a lot of help with his 4 wheel drive Panda:augie

:hapybnce::hapybnce:

Brilliant Cheers Proff and Trippy, for the support, Chester and I agreed at the bottom of the hill it was shite or bust, flat out we said, so I left the line well first bend we were good but hit that step.

Nearly made it, but met a NATIONAL TRUST LANDY comming down as we were going up, I know excusees.

We had a ball manage all but 2 of 10 hills, Pulled off FINGLE BRIDGE and stuck at another.

Oh by the way, its a 750L front wheel drive, wouldn`t cheat with `4x4 :D

Great fun and sorry I couldn`t stop to sign autograhs and kiss your babies.

He was a tosser, came down and then up just for the sake of it, Proff gave him the :tosser but I'm not sure if the one finger he gave back would be approved of by the elders in the NT.
