You may have seen my other thread re EWS issue, anyway I'm getting deep down and dirty with the wiring loom looking for broken wiring.

Tank is off. Now I want to get the ECU holder off the frame to make space to get the loom loosened up around the headstock. I see I have a a round clip type at the bottom both sides of ECU holder and the bottom is loose. I am trying to figure out the top fastening.

Any pointers or links to teardown (as the Yanks would say, great word :D ) videos appreciated. Or any other words of wisdom on this task. Thanks.

If you’re struggling and needing to ask how to remove the plastic ECU holder I’d go no further in your attempt to get “deep down and dirty” …

Ashure I'll keep tipping away..... any help appreciated.

I replaced the timing belt on my Volvo V70 the other day so I can do a little bit....

It's the fixing circled in red that I'm wondering about. Does it tap through with a drift or unscrew or something. Forgive me but the eyes aren't as good as they used to be and the light and shadows... I could go on :D:aidan

It pulls off, just a locating pin sitting in a rubber bush.
