Hi all,

I seem to be having a problem with my 2008 GSA, when it's warm it just cuts out at low revs, this is becoming a real issue as it cut out on the M25 this morning , the revs just seem to die, feels very lumpy down low.

I have a full Akropravic Exhaust System snd the there is no CAT, also fitted one of the ignition thingy's (forgotten what's it called).

Do I need to get a Power Commander or is there something else that's not going to cost £300 that I can do, Is it worth trying to balance the carbs?

As always thanks for your help.

is it only when its warm? if so maybe coils, check colour of plugs

power commander would just mask the issue

would it be worth a BMW dealer plugging in the fault box (£20 ish)?

Had the exact same problem with my 08 GSA, turned out to be the clutch switch, sorted under warranty.

Mine has done it occasionally.

Turns out my No1 cylinder Lambda probe heater is faulty, keeps throwing up fault codes and a plot of 02 sensor voltage with GS911 shows it to be much smaller value than No2 cylinders. Plugs are a nice brown colour but I really ought to bite the bullet and buy a new Lambda probe.
