Planning on giving the bike a service this month so just wondering what are the recommended bits and bobs , ie brake pads organic or sintered? need just the rears but conscious that they have linked brakes, ( I use ebc HH in my other bikes) .
Oil filter I plan on getting an original BMW one and then possibly silkolene oil as my local bike shop stocks that . Or is there a good place to order service kits for these?
Bikes done just over 17K so planning on a full service.

Sintered pads do wear the discs quicker. Service kit - Motorworks or Sherlocks, they will have the correct oil filter included.

As above you can get the service kits from the independant suppliers or buy them direct from a dealer. For oil I use Fuchs Titan race fully synth 10-50 from Opie Oils and Castrol Syntrax for gearbox and final drive. Be careful with mix & match with pads for the linked brakes as you want to keep a good ratio of power between front and back. I would keep the same for front and rear myself. There's plenty of other threads for the tools etc you need - just do a search.
