Having picked up a 2009 GS from a fellow forum member last week (covered 300miles since and enjoying being back in the saddle!? the right hand heated grip isn’t working. Is it simple to replace/resolve? It’s obviously an issue as a couple of others I rode had the same problem.
The fingers were a little cheeky on Tuesday morning at 6am on the 90min ride to work so something to look in to.
Thanks in advance.

Yes common issue. Not that difficult to swap.

Motorworks £105 new; £35 s/hand.

Thanks Tractor - I’m guessing there is a thread somewhere to help a relative novice like me but I haven’t found it yet.
A big price difference between new and 2nd hand but I’m guessing new is the best option as a 2nd hand could fail just a easily as this one.

BMW prices for heated grips are a total piss take (£200 the pair) but unless you want a whole load of hassle they are probably the only option.
