Heated grip not working

Hi i have just purchased an 05 1200 gs and the right hand heated grip is not working. I have pulled of the cover and checked the connections but they all seem fine. What are my options can i buy a single heated grip from bmw or would i be better going for an aftermarket set.

You can buy a single heated grip from BMW, I think under 50 pounds, that is the way I would go, the bmw heated grips are better than others imho.

The left hand one is 60ish, the right hand one is 80ish.
Worth replacing with BMW though as its all integrated to the switch gear.
Marginally cheaper from motor works I think.

My 08 bike has two working grips. Not bad they are 6+ years old. My other bike has Frank Thomas hot grips fitted in 2006. They are still working and get a lot warmer than the bmw grips. Handy in cold weather with thick gloves.

I don't know if FT grips would work acceptably with the BMW switch. It's got to be worth a look at the wiring diagram.
