Hi guys I have a 2009 1200 been stood for a while the ESA isn't doing anything no idea it even had this until a guy came to look at the bike I was thinking of selling but he pointed out it's not working the bike has been stood since about a year is it going to be a nightmare to try and sort any pointers what to do first I have just put a new battery on it

there was a post about needing to use now and then to keep things behaving correctly - I was thinking what a load of, then used mine and it didn't behave straightaway - took a few bounces at the side if the road to wake up - from comfort to two mountains (TC GSA) its a crazy ride height change - then the front did nothing... till I bounced and that woke up and lifted what felt like 3/4"

did it three times got faster each time....

I'd do it running - needs the volts to try and behave....

and if thats not doing much - maybe tap with a bit of wood as a drift

First make sure the bike is running then cycle the ESA,

With the bike on the centre stand, you should see the arse end raise or lower slightly when you change modes

if your astride it, you can feel the susoension moving

If it works :)

if not Denzo may be able to help

I can tell you that on a 2016 with 50% mothership contribution, it cost me £1300 for a new rear !
