No. Only done 1200 miles so far though...

4500 miles and nothing so far, but ............in 3900 miles since first service the oil was down by 2mm in the window, about 0.05 ltr!

Is this normal, do they all use this much oil?

It has been run in proper...thrashed.....AND I had to put air in the front tyre, .2 bar at 4000 miles

Only prob was getting 40mpg after filling up at Sainsburys Ashford before the Tunnel the other week....my buddy got the same....shite fuel...as soon as we filled up in France mpg went back to normal...50 + mpg

Sorry about the "shite" moderators, but I feel it was fully justified in this case to vent my feelings, especially as I wrote to Sainsburys who dismissed it, the bar stewards...

cam sensor wrong from new causing stalling adjusted at 200miles . now 3500 and no other problems. fuel consumption usually 55 mpg driving40-70 on country roads. noticed it dropped to 47 when cruising 80 -90 mph on mway.

Now done 4100 miles no issues to first service @650mls, but apparently cam sensor was done.

No problems on European trip...... Sunday morning ride, round local Herts lanes, bike cut out three times on changing down from 4th - 3rd.

After 1000 km additional light switch (extra Adventure lights) broke down

After 1500 km cam shaft sensor

After 2500 km rusty bolds

Now in for the 10000 km service

Voted for the cam sensor fault - bike started stalling on the way home from the dealer! So much for PDI

However I also have a rough running issue but I can only vote for 1.

Was just thing the same thing, I've owned a R1200GS and GSA and both have never missed a beat

Almost 3,000 miles and NO cam sensor prob, NO stalling, NO faults at all EXCEPT it is hard to keep the locknut on the mirrors tightened, might need to take drastic action and apply some threadlock.

Just under 2000 miles and nothing bad to report at all! (Except I am also having "fun" with the mirror locknuts!!)

No problems here, 12500ish km. The low beam headlight globe blew at about 10000.... No problem, I just changed it!

2500 from new, It's stalled on me at traffic lights a couple of times, and it has a recall for the sensor.

Crash bars are showing signs of rust at the lower mounting points!!

Apart from that, feels so much better that my 08 GSA.

you are gonna need to pry this one from my dying crasp
