Guys,
Apologies in advance if someone else can find the thread (I can't!).

My GSA needs its first 6000 mile service......I thought I'd read about some dealers doing reduced prices on servicing and I'm sure someone had quoted £150 for the above?

I had rang Clarkes at Rednal a few weeks ago and they quoted me £260.

Any information on current reduced service rates?

Cheers :D

Got mine done at Adventure Bike Warehouse back in July at £170, which was 20 quid cheaper than the 600 mile service at a main dealer. Its not that far in the bigger picture of things, as we live in Shropshire, work in Germany. ?? LOL.

Had about 10 quid’s worth of biscuits, tea and pasties, while I was waiting LOL, thanks to Jono.

:aidan

Yes... to repeat the other Paul... Pidcocks are on their winter prices... had my 12K done just before Christmas. Saved about £100.

When is your annual due? If its soon you can combine the two services and save a few more £s:comfort

I wouldn't worry about the annual as it's just horseshit from the dealer and only applies if you do less than 6k per annum. Even then I'd tell them to clear off:augie

Take it to Jono at Adventure Bike Warehouse. He will do the job better than any dealer. His stamp in the book does not affect manufacturers warranty and you know the job will be done properly:thumb You can also watch him do it whilst you have coffee and biccies:augie

I had 2011 GSA serviced re previous thread at Pidcocks, u will poss need brake fluid change depending on age of bike, (not stupid cost I don't think) if u want to keep the warranty correct.
Not far from Derby so I'm guessing not too far for you to go.
They also reset the service counter for the next service at 6000 miles OR 1 year whichever is sooner. :)
