I'm off to Hilltop tomorrow with my TC. Spoke to Geoff who said the software has a learning capability that enables it to adapt to future changes like exhaust or air filter. This seems an advantage over a PC. As I think their maps don't adapt and learn.
PC all the way for me as it can be tuned to suit. I'll be at Mikeboy's on Sunday so have a go on mine and see what a difference a PC makes.
Oh, I've had a PC111 on mine for 3 years and been through some seriously extreme conditions and it's never missed a beat.
The cheapest new pcV I can find is around the 300 notes mark.
Other questions before I commit are:
Cost of getting a custom tune for my bike (and do I need one)?
Any recommendations as to tuners in the yorkshire/Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire areas? I'm in Doncaster but can travel.

I'm going to get a PCV with AT-300 (autotune module)
There's a German shop on eBay for the pair £450 or £212 for the PCV itself.
£360 for hilltop then fuel there and back from Edinburgh and it works out around equal plus I have something to sell if I ever decide.
Does the auto tune negate the need for a specific tune being created for the bike? I'm confused about the auto tune to be honest.I'm going to get a PCV with AT-300 (autotune module)

Cheers. I assume the auto tune is generic - ie your link will work with twin cams (2010)?

Out of interest has anyone who fitted a PC declared this to their insurers and was there a premium increase because of it?
Thanks. I wonder how the auto tune knows was the 'correct' tune for the bike is? Is there some magic ratio or some equation that ensures perfect fuelling? I thought the human tuners skill made that happen.
