2010 K27 R12R Cluster retrofit in a 2009

The cluster died.
Can I retrofit the later style cluster to a 2009 (same cluster as the F800)?

Are the bases the same? Connectors ?

At a guess, I would say no. Maybe someone who knows better than me can help you?

Off at a bit of a tangent here. Have a 2013 R1200R with that twin clock style. But no oil temp or fuel gauge, my older 2011 Classic had them. Dealer says no way to add them "they're all like that" Anyone succeeded in adding them?

The physical fit / mounting of the part

The connections. (wiring)

And the biggest issue is the can/ signal bus requirements

+ it will probably need coding as well
