nah,much preferred my K13S

I much prefered my K1200S to the K1200R I tested, but the S had around 12-15 more bhp at the rear wheel - I think the 1300's are much closer :D

I fitted R handlebars on mine anyway, so I had the best of both worlds. Seriously considering a K1300R as my next bike though so I can enjoy the acceleration without being tempted to use the top end.

You are simply kidding yourself Sven, if the power is there you will use it. Too much is never enough as they say.

I've never yet found the self control required to not try full throttle on any machine I've ridden, if only to briefly experience what it can do.

A good job the GSA has a mere 100bhp and weighs a ton. I can't be trusted with anything as powerful as a K12/1300:augie

I rode a 1300 R from Bahnstomers. May have to invest in one next year.
Loved it, it nearly got me off my GSA`s. But you cant offroad this beasty, well i might manage it going through a hedge backwards on fire if i do purchase one....:thumb2

the two earlier year ones my mates have, (1200,s?) have been traded in, for suzi b kings, they hated the suspension, they also have a lousey trade in value ,only bm shops seem to want them and then reluctantly,, out of the 5 iv tested (1200,s) all have more rust that i would have expected too, lets hope the new un is better

I think it looks awesome dont know why anyone, apart from Stevie Wonder, would want a B King!!!!!!!!!

I used to take my K12S over 170mph on a far too regular basis when thrashing it through the gears pulling away from junctions or roundabouts when safe to do so. It pulled 150 two-up easier than the GS does 100

I've weaned myself off the high speed (especially as I have a company car now so need my licence), but miss the acceleration for quick overtakes or just for a quick buzz. Hence, K1300R with a cockpit fairing may tick most of the boxes. We're tempted by the K1300GT too, but SWMBO thinks it'll be too big and heavy for anything other than touring :nenau

My B-King has had a bit of a make over and is a fecking stormer of a bike :D:D:D
