Hi All,

Another bike! Selling my 2011 BMW R1200RT TC, bought last year after a long hunt for a low‑mileage, well‑specced example for motorway commuting. Only selling because I’m moving to an electric car and have too many vehicles to justify keeping it.

• 2011 BMW R1200RT (Twin Cam)
• 14,808 miles (may increase if it stays sunny)
• Full service history with all stamps in the book
• 2 keys
• Last serviced December 2025
• MOT to December 2026
• HPI clear

Spec and extras​

• ESA
• ASC
• Tyre pressure monitoring
• Heated grips and heated seats
• Cruise control
• BMW panniers and top box
• Chigee AIO 6 unit with front and rear cameras (Chinese version – CarPlay doesn’t work, but great as dashcam and extra speedo)
• Auxiliary LED spotlights with dash scroll wheel for brightness and separate flash switch
• Minimotos tracker fitted
• Sprayed XCP at start of winter riding

Condition​

• Generally excellent, everything works exactly as it should
• Tyres (Road 6) and brakes in very good condition
• Usual light corrosion on rear swingarm, engine front casing and fork lowers, but genuinely better than most I viewed before buying
• Scratch on right pannier, other two boxes very clean
• Light scratch on front mudguard (hard to photograph but I’ve tried)

This is a really comfy, sorted RT with low miles and the right extras, ready to commute or tour.

Price​

• £5,100 UKGSER price – essentially what I paid once you factor in the extras
• Would consider PX for a 2018–2019 Renault Zoe ZE40 R110, but I know that’s a long shot on here

Bike is located in west London.
Any inspection welcome. Test rides with proof of insurance and full asking price in my hand.

It’s a fair point .
The OP wanted £5100 which is what the bike owes him .
Unless it was an absolute bargain in the first place , you’ll never get back what you paid for it .

The price has since had two reductions and is now a whole £150 cheaper !
Possibly a bit unrealistic . Knocking off say £500 then another £250/500 may have piqued more interest .

You could have .... or you could have put the price up (I've seen that done with cars and bikes from time to time) ... or you could have done all sorts of things . Probably have done no good as well ... but if you like , I'll visit again next week , and give it another shove for you (every little bit helps .... cough......)

I’d be tempted, but I’ve I got a 2010 with over 60 k miles on it and it owes me having had a new clutch, new tyres etc etc.
