2013 Model

Steering damper

New updated switchgear

Revised clutch pushrod and probably many more clutch mods, yet undisclosed

The 2013 model will be sought after as being the original bike that felt fully 'alive' before the steering was dumbed-down to make it more saleable to those riders with only one ball, definitely the penny black of the GS-LC collection.

Phew.....TF for that! I was beginning to worry.... :blast

A steering damper is the only difference. All the other mods will be done under warranty, so aren't an issue. I can't see that the damper will be that noticeable, but will report back, once I've ridden my new bike next year.:aidan

Really - they're going to retrofit the new clutch pushrod and revised switchgear to 2013 bikes? There's also the clever, new gearchange assist gubbins.... :nenau

Is there not a difference with engine modes with the 2014 model? In that it does not have the 5 engines modes found on the 2013 model.

BMW chap on the stand at the NEC said that bikes after September 2013 no longer had the 5 engines modes. Now to be had on the GSA only
