Nick would you have to change the log book if you change panels, I also liked white but my dealer only gad an olive one available at a great price so opted for green I quite like it its growing on me. Good luck.

Yes, you should inform the DVLA of a colour change, but it only cost you a stamp.

Are the panels difficult to remove..? Without breaking any little tabs clips etc.. ? After bmw's response to my subframe issue I'm looking to have mine wrapped in a flat orange with satin black sides to the tank and the subframe powder coated in bright white to make it look like a KTM as they are just as shit as the paint quality on the new gs's ! Im in west sussex if anyone knows someone that does it.

Everybody's tastes differ, but for me, that's friggin' beautiful!
There's a company called Jet Hot that coat those exhaust pipes with gloss black ceramic coating if you're into it. Kinda like the chrome, too. Oh, if only it would STAY looking that good!
