K1200R Sport

Well the KTM 990 Adventure went a couple of weeks ago, very sad to see it go, but i wasnt riding it due to being too clean.
sounds funny that, purchased loads of new bikes in all weathers, but as that bike was nearly six yeats old, and so mint, i just felt guilty.
Anyway, got this yesterday.
Its as the title says, 2007 BMW K1200R Sport. Think they only made these for a year, i like the style and the colour.
One plus point, its got non servo abs. its not had too hard a life, it has been used, already done 18,000 miles, but it comes with a full spec of

h/grips
computer
sport wheels
clear indicator lens
centre stand
years tax
years mot
1 years bmw warranty.

the bike is very planted, comfortable, stops, and boy does it go....

would say its like any other K1200R. but you get quite a bit more protection.

I wanted one of those but got an insurance quote which scared me so got a GS instead.

After two GS1200 both which broke down i bought K1300s now which is loverly and for some strange reason cheaper insurance.

Just watch the speed third gear make everthing go lightspeed ish

Great looking bike.

I chopped my 1200GS in for a 1300R last September and I'm loving it.
Partly down to it being my first ever brand new bike but mostly because whenever I get off it I'm grinning like a loon!

Here it is when it was still shiny and new.

I had a bike identical to yours as a loaner from Cooper Tunbridge Wells in 2007. It was like a bloody time machine
