Does anyone know how much a new one retails for in Ireland?
Waiting 3 days for a return call. They must be busy in the dealerships

Ya musta won the Lotto

They 'start' at €17.5k but I think they're over €22k fully loaded…..

Any time I've been in that radio fella's place they've been wheeling out bike after bike... Anyway lack of a phone call isn't great, but is par for the course. :rob

A fully loaded 1150 adv back in 2003 was €19500 fully loaded.
No lotto win but sure one has to look after oneself!!
I may look to the fatherland and suss the situation there.

22K full spec including luggage and satnav.
Paul is the salesman and he is sound.
They are busy boys but a vary good dealership.
Kearys are also good.

Kearys hmmmm,
I bought two new GSA from them in the last few years, no trade in, straight deals, delighted they were to take my money, now I wanted to trade my 09 GSA for new bike, they were not interested as my mileage is too high they said, so when you buy a new BMW, park it in the front room, don't use it or they will not be keen to do business. I went to them twice this year and spoke with two different members of staff, bring back the recession.

Its too bad the high exchange rate has wrecked trade with the Englanders .
I wonder are they seeing the benefit of the High Gbp , in the retail price of €uro manufactured products ,like BMW ?

In Duffy's last week and took the R1200RS out for a test ride. Paul the salesman was sound. Selling loads of bikes.

The decision comes down to a new adventure or a new xt1200z. Both can be purchased in Germany for considerably less. The BMW €6000 less, the XT for €2.5/3k less than here. In both cases they are 2015 bikes pre registered to the respective dealers so no VAT.

Hi Tom,
I'm sure you've already looked into it but just in case you haven't.....
I think the bike must be 6 months old and over 6000 kms to be exempt from vat.

Jim.
