Anyone found a good source of them, as £75 + VAT from the main dealer seems to imply they are gold plated!

:blast

Thanks in advance.

Got my 2017 GSA rear Brembo brake pads (brand new) from Motorworks.co.uk

Dealer wanted about £75

I paid £ 27.13 plus £4 delivery for Part Code BRA70335

Fitted and doing their job perfectly :thumb

How long are you getting from pads? My GS is far too new to need pads. On my K1200RS, they lasted util 17000 miles, and then 36000 miles... so around 17000-19000 miles
£70 every 17000 miles seems pretty economical???

You have to be careful when considering EBS HH pads, good as they are. I found them thicker than the OEM pads and this can lead to brake binding from new. Brembo pads all the way...

You'll be lucky to get 10k out of rear pads, in my experience.

Wow - I don;t think I ever changed rear pads on any Beemer I owned! K1100RS, 48000 miles on original rear pads, K1200RS still on original rears at almost 40k, and R1200RS still on original pads (not got to first 600 service yet :))

The GS is harder on rear pads, than other models, on my R for example, I used to change front/rear at roughly same time/wear level.

I reckoned on two pairs of rear pads to one front set.

+1 also buy my discs from motorworks about half the cost that a dealer would charge. It will be interesting to see who will sell pads for the hayes calipers fitted to the new 1250 bikes?!

Always used EBC on the BMW's and never had n issue with the fitting.

Is that to do with the automatic front/rear braking distribution perhaps?
