Going to have a look at a 2016 gsa , it has all the bells & whistles, sub 9k miles what to look for out for?

Corrosion on the rear subframe, for some reason the 2016 models suffer badly,

its not structural , but it makes the subframe look Grey and very pitted on the surface

Service history is a must, and if it has it an ongoing warranty with no lapses

Then check all electrics work, any warnings no matter how small , i'd walk

a good one will bring smiles per mile, a bad one, bills and bills

If I remember rightly the move from Euro 3 to Euro 4 was half wat through the 2016 model year

Euro 4 bikes got fork reflectors, a blue ring around the numbers on the speedo, an improved gearbox and a flat spot in the fueling that the Euro 3 bikes didn’t have

Can you tell if it has a quick shifter without riding the bike, looking at the pics of bike cannot see blue ring round the speedo.

Quick shifter sits behind gear lever input shaft, a small blackplastic box, no black box and straight in to gearbox - no quickshifter. You won't have the blue ring in the Speedo on the 16, that came with the next facelift

There was a bizarre mid year upgrade between the 2016 models and the 2017 models, kind of a 2016 1/2 several months before the usual September year change, I think they got the changes I mentioned or at least some of them

Yep....my buddy had a 2016 with the blue ringed speedo.

(sounds like a Halloween costume in a Gay bar)

Xiaomi M14U

After looking at the bike and agreeing a price, the vendor decided to keep it for a few more months, so on the lookout again
Been thinking about going for a late twin cam model as I bought one new back in 2010 and really liked it, only sold as I was doing an extension on my house. Prices on those models are still quite high, but seem to be a bit more reliable than early w/c versions.

9 years old and less than 9000 miles. I would be wondering why it hasn’t been any further. Has it been in the workshop for something major wrong with it? Does it need a major recommissioning as it has hardly been used? Is the mileage genuine?
