Why did you get the Kwak, when you knew this was coming out?

Because I wanted something to use over the winter and for long trips.Plus the Kwak is nearly £6k less !!
Might get the 1290 GT as well !

I used to think that way too - bought a Scotoiler and job done. Also no lash from the shaft = much smoother power delivery.

Not quite a surpised as the fact that you've swapped it though , that's a mickey mouse Termi end can on the Pikes peak by the look of things , you should have just bought the decal kit and carbon bits.

My 'limited' experience of KTM is that once the initial launch furore has died down there are deals to be had. Both at dealer level and 'KTM' level (eg free goodies and luggage and 0% finance or some such).

now that's a very attractive bike trouble is my 1200GSA is currently sitting in the garage covered in road muck as its used daily and I'm not sure that bikes meant for daily use
