Day 2 at the EICMA FEST.
It's not disappointed. Great show.
I think I visited the Kato stand about 5 times in 2 days. I spent a total of 5 minutes on the BMW stand and that was today. Says something.

The R will be near to 13,500 euro with the S 12,500 euro. I hope that's an on-the-road price! Don't shoot the messenger!

Or maybe not. Stoke KTM are advertising the 790 on Ebay and taking £500 deposits, saying: With the final price not yet confirmed, and the 790 Duke priced at £8499, we have an idea of where KTM will price this bike and will update as soon as its been confirmed.

I don't see that as a deal breaker … The cable operated clutch on the 790 Duke is very light

With the added quickshifter only time you will use the lever is when coming to a stop.
Is the 790R being built in India??

Well as long as it’s not in the UK I doubt many will care.
That might be true for road riding. This will spend time off-road.
KTM clutch parts never go wrong
Would've preferred a hydraulic myself.
And where’s the cruise control and shaft drive ?
I don't think so.
You might want to think about that and ask some 690 owners Oh and while your at it ask about LC8 slave cylinders
