For sale, my wife’s lovely 2018 Mini Clubman Cooper D. Probably the best looked after and maintained diesel Clubman out there. We have decided to go electric with one of our cars, hence the very hesitant sale of this super car.
66178 miles, which may creep up a little as the car is in use still. Full BMW/Mini service history and any work done by Mini as required. It’s been in twice, once for a loose interior light and also for a MAF sensor to be replaced. Beyond that it’s been utterly reliable. It’s a 2.0 litre diesel engine, 150 bhp that is super torquey. It’s a 6 speed manual and with no effort whatsoever, it returns an easy 50mpg around town, rising to 65mpg on a run. For a 2.0 litre engine, it’s incredibly frugal. Drives superb on the motorway and holds the road like a go-kart on the back roads.
It has an unmarked, black leather interior with very comfortable sports seats that are heated and have adjustable lumbar support.
My wife calls it a big little car and this is evident with the leg room both in the front and the back seats. Boot is a good size too and has the height adjustable boot floor for additional space. The rear doors can be opened manually, by pressing the key fob, or by sweeping your foot underneath the rear of the car. The car has keyless entry and keyless ignition. The starter switch is a cool toggle switch that pulses red prior to starting! It has the extended LED interior light pack which offers a rainbow of colours to suit your mood. The door handles have exterior lights within them to light the way and a smart Mini logo is projected from the drivers door on opening.
The Mini sat nav is probably the best I’ve used outside of a phone based navigation app. You can of course use them with the built in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The sound system is great and easily controlled by the factory fitted John Cooper Works steering wheel controls. These also control the cruise control and speed limiter. The voice activation button can also be found on the steering wheel.
It benefits from the BMW I drive system which is super intuitive and gives access to endless possibilities for managing the vehicle settings. Next to this is the electric parking brake switch.
It has a large panoramic sunroof which tilts and slides rearward which floods the cabin with light. It can be screened off with separate blinds for the front and back. Tyres are all good and are quality run flats. The only bad bit on the car are some scuffs on the offside rear wheel which were my doing!
The car is MOT’d until May 2026 and there is no outstanding finance on the car.
That’s about it. Car is priced at a very reasonable £8500 ovno. Private plate will come off once deposit taken.
