For Sale is my rather special 2020 VW Transporter T6.1

The van was first registered in September 2020.
It is a T28 Highline model.
Spec includes: Body-coloured bumpers, door mirrors and door handles, Adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, Automatic headlights and wipers, Air-conditioning, Heated windscreen, Electric, heated and folding door mirrors, Colour infotainment system with 6.5-inch touchscreen as standard which has inbuilt DAB radio, Bluetooth and Two USB connections, Load lashing rings for cargo tie down points in rear of van, Remote central locking on all doors (rear plus side door), Front fog lights that have inbuilt cornering function, App-Connect compatible with Android and Apple phones giving hands free calls etc, Alarm system fitted as standard, Electric front windows for driver and passenger, Heated door mirrors, electric adjustment from inside the cab, Power steering, Steering wheel adjustment (reach and rake so it can go up, down, forwards, backwards towards driver), Steering wheel comes with a hard-wearing leather rim, Interior LED lighting (inc touch switched spots in the rear), USB charging ports in rear of van, Hard wearing rubber floor lining, Parking sensors on both front and back plus rear reversing camera.
It has covered just 24k miles.
The van is a Leighton van. Search them if you have never heard of them.
I purchased it in April 2024, with just 14k miles on the clock.
When I purchased the van it was in Kombi format, and had six seats (driver captains seat, a front bench passenger seat and 2+1 rear seats. I removed the seats and have installed a u-shaped lounge / bed setup with a kitchen pod. See the photos.
The plan was to use the van at weekends, as a day van with the odd overnight stay. This rarely happened, hence the small increase in miles since purchase.
I sold the rear seats, but left the seat belts and seat brackets in place, so it could be converted back to a kombi with ease. The furniture just lifts out.
The van has the Leighton front and rear bumpers. It also has the Leighton staggered 20 inch alloy wheels. The van sits on slightly lowered suspension.
The van benefits from sound deadening and insulation. The interior is lined with carpet and alcantara.
The front seats are the original VW seats in brick pattern. These are unmarked as they have been covered since new with genuine VW seat covers.
I will get the van serviced and MOT for the new owner (the van is due an oil service and the current MOT is valid until 7 April 2026)
The van has roof rails and roof bars. It also has an awning rail that sits below the roof rails.
The van has been remapped to give it a little more poke - but I didn't go crazy.
I am pricing the van at £35K. There is no VAT to pay.
As the photos show, the van is mint - other than
1) a small scratch on the front bumper, and
2) the side bars are looking a little scabby.
The side bars could easily be replaced and it would cost around £100 to do so.
The private plate on the van will be removed prior to sale.
