2021 R1250 GS Fuel Leak?

I have recently noticed a petrol smell coming from my bike whilst going along on the motorway.
I have removed the body panels surounding the tank and there is a fuel smell coming from where the filler cap assembly sits onto the tank.
I can't see any petrol pouring out from anywhere.
However there are some clean 'running lines' on the fuel tank which has me wondering if they have been caused by fuel leaking.

Sometimes it looks closed but it’s not

Is your breather clear from the neck? If not and you overfill or just get residual fuel ion there it may have nowhere to go other than sit in the cap assembly..
