I am 6'4 with 33" inside leg, I would be going stock non lowered. When you start - run seat in low position, I actually run seat in high position as find bike most comfortable at this height, but as others have said - take it slow while you get used to it. Also I would shout to never have more than 20l of fuel in it for first x months, to be honest I tend to run like this most of time unless I want the extra range.
The other guide I would give (I would give this for any big bike but GSA especially). Never feel like - oh, i'll just drop it off the centre strand, or casually think you will move it around say on gravel or grass without really thinking. Unless you are a weightlifting super gladiator, a) total respect of the weight and b) total commitment. Ignoring either of these will = bike on the floor and the risk of you getting injured.
A GSA coming off the centre stand is (In my experience) the most dangerous moment if either uncommitted to what your about todo or if you forget you are dealing with 275kg+ bike.
They are fantastic machines, don't let the above put you off.
