2024 Attendees

Well sitting here in southern Spain listening to the constant drivel about how nice this and how lovely that….. I can honestly say it was much nicer when you all fecked off and left 😂😂😂

The pool had more room, there were drinks and food in abundance, there was peace and quiet and no bloody noisy smelly motorbikes ruining the view…..heavenly bliss!

I certainly can’t recommend the summer party, it really is a complete rabble of human kind descending upon the home of a vulnerable man with a motorcycle addiction, and his ever loving wife who has more kindness and caring than any one person should be allowed to have.
Sid quite clearly needs help as he seems to appreciate people eating and drinking him out of house and home! He also offers his hard earned workshop facilities, games room and wonderful surroundings! He should be putting his archery collection to good use and picking off these
Invaders, but instead he welcomes them and doesn’t shoot a single arrow!

Then there’s the food! Sid and Ann bring in their friend (I say that loosely because I’m not sure what kind of friend subjects another to such torture!), Simon, who dutifully dishes out meal after meal for the attendees! He’s obviously being drugged because he’s always smiley and happy, it’s gruesome to see such obvious slavery at work. Seeing poor Simon happily cooking away and being left nowt but a mere morsel of a sausage, some chicken, a burger, potato salad, salad, selection of the finest french cheeses and of course local bread….well it brought a tear to my eye, that poor man endures hell over the weekend, and all people can do is heap praise upon him, yet he stays shackled to the bbq!

I’d love to say it was great to catch up with old friends , but it’s truly spoilt by having so many new people to meet! They’re all seem so ‘nice’, it’s a pain in the arse remembering everyone’s names.

So, I would 100% not recommend this weekend to anyone that doesn’t like socialising, sunshine, beautiful surroundings, great local roads and medieval villages, good company, fantastic hosts, great food and a good old relax. If that all sounds awful I’d highly recommend not attending!

Having said all that, I might have been wrong, so I’ve booked in for next year just to make sure that I’ve assessed it fairly 😂😂😂

Thank you Sid and Ann for your extraordinary hospitality and tolerance, it is an honour to attend. In order to keep the rabble in check, next year I might start a cull of the attendees myself, if you could get one of the local knife sharpeners to put an edge on the arrows, that would be marvelous 👍😎

Oh, my wife and daughter had a fantastic time too and Soph is hoping Grace will attend again as she needs a pool buddy 👍
Love this review! There is no suggestion of sarcasm, but being english you can absolutely read the intent (just in case others cannot).
Grace loved it and absolutely loved spending the time with Sophia....the video's of them racing around on the quad were a bit heart racing....if you need the vids let me know!
A wonderful event that I will attend next year also if sid and ann host.

It's a burden I have to bare. Sid beats me if I don't 🤣

@icedfusion Hi. I have a small black Jeff & Co tee shirt that I think belongs to your young lady, Phil lass says it's not hers.

If it is hers can you email me your address and I'll pop it in or post it.

My email address is my forum handle at gmail dot com.

Well....I got back from my extended trip on Weds. When I find the energy/time I'll do a ride report, but just wanted again to convey my thanks to @Crapaud & Ann for their hospitality/generosity; plus, a pure pleasure to have met all the tossers who attended....you know who you are :) & to @Sumprat for keeping us fed.

My trip in total covered 2,537 miles & I had rain for a mere 5 hours (overnight in Switzerland) & woke up to dry roads. Bike performed flawlessly & I managed to see everything I planned to

Just to echo the thoughts and sentiments of everyone who attended Sid and Ann's weekend chill out, such a great event with great people, great food, and stunning location, thank you Sid and Ann for putting up with us all and making it an event to remember, till next time.
we arrived home safely and managed to do it all in the dry, there will be a short ride report and pictures to follow.

What are the dates for next year, I'll get them in my diary now so I don't balls it up like I did this year! :D 🤔
