So 154 bhp

Quite like that. The motor is obviously from the sublime K5.
Looking forward to sitting on it on Thursday

I’ve always discounted Suzuki as the build quality never seemed to be good enough ‘for me’. It’s interesting to hear them talk about that in the video, saying it’s a step up now. (y) Nice looking bike.

I wonder what is Smart about the Cruise Control

£14,499 OTR

Not a lot :

6 CruiseControl
Cruise Control helps reduce fatigue when touring long distances, particularly when travelling at constant speed on motorways, by letting you maintain a set speed without operating the throttle. And it does this while allowing you to perform clutch-free gear shifts using the Bi-directional Quick Shift System without cancelling cruise control. This makes the GX more comfortable, more convenient and less tiring to operate on long rides.
When you do need to temporarily disengage the system, you can use the handy resume function to re-engage it and accelerate to the most recent speed setting. You can easily adjust the speed setting using the (+/-) select switch on the left handlebar, and the chosen setting appears on the colour TFT LCD instrument screen.

I quite like that. Seat height seems quite tall at 845mm and pillion would be perched really high, but those things aside, for the money, it looks to be a cracker.

Good improvement on the GT, glad I sold mine couple months ago. Not ready to jump in with a GX tho!

I like it its sort of a cross between the GT and the 1250RS but with a bit more power and a whole lot smoother but by the time you put a Cntr stand on it panniers top box heated grips alarm its cracking up at over £16K A decent end can and a set of crash bobbins and its a £17K bike !
I hope its not got the same shite tyres My GT had they were deadly, a set of road 6s on it and it was a different bike, no mention of an adjustable screen either ? they missed a trick there Id say

the other thing that will bump up the cost of ownership is the service intervals. Like Kawasaki, Suzuki seems to be hanging onto the 1980s schedule of oil changes at 4000 miles. Not great if you are a high mileage user, although many will only need to service once a year like BMW.
