2024 XSR 900 GP

The MCN page you posted says it makes 106 hp. I take it they mean at the rear wheel as Yamaha seem to claim 119 bhp.
My 2106 MT-09 now makes 117 hp at the rear wheel following a remap.
Also, if the new one is anything like mine, it'll have its top speed restricted. They do that by progressively closing the throttle butterflies as you go faster.
Mine was limited to 125 mph on the dyno before it was mapped.

Oh god. If it’s limited to 125 mph I’m going to cancel the order . I need to do 130 mph everywhere 🤔

No but I thought you might be

Nope. As much as I love riding in California, I've not done it for far too many years. Only ever been to the border at Tijuana as well. So no 130 mph blasting around Mexico.

I've asked him on a few occasions where he rides in NorCal but he's never come up with an answer.

Press launch in Portugal today

Red and white, or black and grey....

HAS to be the red and white, no? Isn't that the whole point of the bike, the retro look?

I'd love one, BTW, in a world of largely uninteresting new bikes, I think Yamaha have smashed it.

I’d imagine they’ll sell ten times as many red and white as the grey !!
