It looks good but why is it £18k for the base bike ?
The Yamaha XSR 900 GP, another retro is £12k.

I can’t see where the money has gone . R12 nineT with fancy orange paint. Slap on £4k !!!

Yep, think they’ve gone somewhat bonkers with the pricing even if it does look pretty good

The website states it’s based on the R 12 nineT.
I thought perhaps it had upgraded suspension and a tuned motor but nothing mentioned .

Pretty incredulous that it’s only £50 cheaper than the 1300GSA, given the latters features and tech . Also amazing that you can add over £8k of extras to it !!

The world really has gone mad .

I've configured an R12 9T to the same spec as the new R12S and it comes to £18,250.

...and you still don't get the painted headlight cowling.

So I can see where the money has gone.

Popped into a dealer this afternoon, the R12S is bloody lovely. I loved my Urban (bar the suspension) and this is the natural progression. 8 months old, 200 miles..15k. It was parked next to an RT at £25k

I’m 60 next year …though sales matey chap said BMW were ending production
