2026 KLE500

I was looking forward to seeing this, only to be disappointed today at the NEC.
Watching someone sitting on it it, the lack of ground clearance was obvious. Lower than many road bikes....I'd imagine riding over a speed hump would risk grounding it.

yours for £5995 otr
Or £6599 for the SE which is available in three colour options. For the extra cost you will get LED indicators to go along with the LED lighting front and rear, a TFT instrumentation, and a package that features a larger windshield, sturdy hand guards and a large skid plate.

I've been looking at (Fancying) the F 450 GS and have consequently been researching bikes in this 'category' the KLE being on the watch list ( I am a Kawasaki fan as some may have noticed)

However the KLE is too off road focused for my requirements what with its 21" front wheel etc ., etc ., and the F450 GS will no doubt be costly and in short supply....it is nice though ;)

The other 'option' is the CF Moto 450 MT which is far better equipped and comes in at £5699.00 OTR....much more a££ordable

Checking the spec on the 450 MT shows that it is by far the better value for money option

I know there are those on here that will consider Taiwan manufactured bikes to be something that should be avoided for a host of reasons, but I have already owned a Voge 525 DSX and it was a very good, well equipped bike

I haven't owned my 310GS for 12 months yet so no change is imminent right now ...lets see what the future brings

OK, I can't imagine a KLE will be too much different than 2022+ CB500X or NX500? Similar power from their 180* twin engines. The KLE's front tyre is skinnier and 1 1/2" taller and of course it has tubes to deal with. Neither have cruise unfortunately.

Good points....cruise isn't a requirement for me TBH, I have had it on previous bikes and never really used it

The jury is out for now ...I'll have to convince the boss (again) and in the meantime count my pennies :ROFLMAO:

I called into my Kawasaki dealer today and chatting to the sales lad he confirmed the weight is 196kg wet and Kawasaki have increased the ground clearance to 7.8” following feedback from bike shows.

How exactly have they done this?
Have they made serious changes to suspension or just changed the wording in the specs?

No idea. I visited my local dealer and asked the sales guy if they’d had the full specs yet from Kawasaki and that’s what he told me.

Their demo should be mid-late March. You’d have to really want the GS450 over this as it’s appreciably more expensive and built in India, not Japan.

BMW and KTM are masters at marketing bikes built in India and China but for German and Austrian manufactured prices. The KLE will likely be built in India and Thailand but thankfully not sold at German or Austrian price.

It's one of my favourite ones to ride and I imagine a KLE would be as well.
Agreed . Great little bikes . Blasted all over Gran Canaria on one last year . Certainly not dull but depends on the attitude of the rider too .

First review I’ve seen
