20k service - What's involved?

My GS is coming up to 20k and I wondered what is involved with servicing it?

Service Intervals

Apart from the services being at 6k intervals, 6k, 12k, 18k, 24k etc:-

Engine oil & filter change.

Air filter change.

Spark plug/plugs change (single or Twin Spark model, you don't say).

Brakes, chain & sprocket, bearings as needed. Some insist on valve clearances, but only heard of one needing changing, so why bother?

Basically check over & adjust/tighten all fasteners, grease moving parts such as levers & rests.

About 3 hours all together.

Sounds like I could do a lot of that myself, rather than my local BMW dealership charge me $100000's

Pretty sure it's also recommended to change the fork oil and bleed the ABS system - that can add a few pounds to the cost
