2104 vario bracket to 2012?

Has anyone seen this done or know of anyone who has made an adapter plate? Have a 2014 top box and just need to modify but just thought it may already be done!

GS or GSA boxes?

Granny & eggs warning: The 2014 box should sell for more than the 2005 to 2013 box will cost so could be a cost plus option

The 2014 Vario box is bigger I've been told, GS or GSA boxes? didn't even know they were different! different mounts? Does the later box just use the black tray that fits under the aluminium carrier? if so I can cut a stainless plate to bolt this to my 2012 rack. I'm new to this GS lark and coming from race bikes am finding brilliant and can't understand why I left it so long! I just want the Vario box I can fit a helmet into to match the side boxes. Thanks for your patients guys!

For carrying helmets you would be better off with a Givi Trekker.

The standard non-LC Vario top box will take one full face helmet provided it's a small shell. My medium Arai Condor fits but my Arai Quantum ST, also medium, doesn't.
