Really? :eek
Now I have a LOT of tent pegs of various sizes, lengths, weights, colours, shapes and strengths but I’ve never felt the need for a 24” one! :nenau When the hell would that be of any use? And if you needed one ( or more ) you’re probably in the wrong place to put a tent / tarp up!
Carrying them must cause its own issues too.
Hey ho, someone will buy them no doubt! Won’t be me though.

I'd guess that in somewhere with Soft upper surfaces you need a long peg to hold the tent down into a more solid under surface, or there's enough pressure to hold it. Places either with a lot of loose Sand or Snow.

There are designated pegs for sand and snow. Huge wide things.
