24k service

the 24k service is due on my bike now, and I wondered what the cost is likely to be? any ideas much appreciated.

does anyone know any independents near brands hatch?

You could just change the oil and filter yourself.
I dont plan on ever taking mine to a dealer.

Rich - do a search here on "24k service" - that same question gets asked every month - so all the answers have probably been given

the 24k requires valve clearance checking? otherwise i would do it, plugs, oil etc...

mines due as well,i was qouted £250 i think thats a reasonble price as my kwaks last service ran in at £275

SWMBO's F650GS recently had the 12k service and the valves were well within spec. The technician said they would be safe until the 36k service and wouldn't need checking at 24k.
