I've ordered an auxiliary receiver for my 2610 to improve reception. Where's the best place to locate it? I've seen some positioned on the beak. Is this the optimum position?

My bike is an '02 R1150GS.

Mine is hot-glued onto the top of the brake reservoir. It is unobtrusive, gets a good sight of the sky and is easily removed/refixed when I need to fill the brake reservoir.

I also specified an antenna with a suitably short lead.

i had mine velcro'd onto the brake reservoir in a similar manner to Greg.

i tried it mounted on the beak as well, but the signal was usually better on the master cylinder.
