2610 Quest

2610, Quest. Following the Tour de France, Trip to Rome etc... just some general touring . Is it possible to expand the memory? Is the screen better on the Quest? Did have a Nav II but sold it to a ukgser. Didn't work as well as I thought it would.

The Nav.II works fine thanks

I believe the Quest has the same processor as the 2610/Nav.II, screen size may be a little smaller(?) but I don't see it being better than the 2610, probably very similar in fact?

Quest's memory is non-expandable, which is the thing that put me off it despite the attractive price.

Have you found the Euro adapter that slots on to the plug in mains adapter - would be very useful on forthcoming euro trips..........

There was something that I was meant to forward to you - earplugs maybe? If you remember, let me know.

Hi Steve,
Haven't found the Euro adapter yet - still looking! Thanks for the info. Pleased to read that the Nav II is fine. Earplugs sorted have a friend who works in the local ENT Hospital who makes them - didn't know until I told them about yours. They will be ready next week.
