The screen on my 2610 has had it. The outer surface has bubbled and gone, and the surface underneath it is pretty shot as well now, making it pretty hard to see in the sunlight.

I'm sure I read on here, that someone had polished the screen on theirs, and it was usable again. I've done a search, and I'll be fooked if I can find anything about it,so anyone shead any light on the subject at all.

Failing that, has anyone got a knacked 2610 with a decent screen on they don't want anymore. I have a hammer, chisel and trowel, so making one good one shouldn't present a problem if such a thing exists.

Any other ideas welcome.

I did with my Quest when it was too scuffed, worked fine after but then it's not a touch screen. I think your option will be replacement if you can find one.

Maybe try here, haven't tried them myself though :nenau
