Hi All,
I did 900 miles at the weekend, Basingstoke to Edinburgh and back, motorway up, B-rode return, testing out the 2610 in its new RAM mounting with a power cable jury-rigged from a homemade BMW->cigarette adaptor.
On the ride north, perhaps a dozen times over the 7hr ride, the screen stopped tracking my route and instead spontaneously changed into panning-mode, putting up a the white mouse-like "map pointer" arrow that you use for marking out areas of a map, making waypoints, etc, whilst you rode off the top of the screen.
Pressing the "Page" button restores it to following your route, but I was wondering:

- Is it buggered / got a dodgy switch?
- Or do they all do this?
- Maybe it was to do with the bright sunlight confusing the infrared port? Seems unlikely, but it only happened once on the overcast Sunday...
- Or is it vibration induced from the RAM mount?
- Other?
