Click to expand... On my Quest the antenna had become disconnected - it was repaired under warranty. If yours is out of waranty you could see if it's possible to connect an external antenna - They're only about £5 for the Quest on eBay.

As above, use an external might be the easiest. Try calling Garmin to see if they will repair it, as I've read recently that they don't support units as old as the 2610 anymore...

Sorry for the ingnorance, never had a problem with mine up until today (lost satelite too) but what is a hard reset?
