2720 / Mapsource - tracks and routes?

After some advice as a Garmin / Mapsource newbie.

I just went for a ride today and have downloaded the track that my 2720 recorded and have saved it for posterity.

If I want to be able to do this ride again guided by my 2720 - what's the best way to do it? I can't work out if the 2720 can be told to follow recorded tracks and I can't find any way to convert it into a route using Mapsource so that it can be uploaded to the unit?

Any advice gratefully received!

For Quest I use method described here...should work for 2720 (it's a Mapsource thing, after all) ...http://www.elsinga.net/206.html It's not perfect as you can end up with a very high number of waypoints. It can be easier just to use the "route tool" in Mapsource and "draw over" the track IYSWIM.

Hmm, tried it last night and I've come to the conclusion that the 'trace over with the route tool' technique seems easier.
